LAZERMAR

Lazermar was created in 1996 with the initial objective of creating a fusion between the island and the visitors, and with little information available at the time for those visiting us, we have since been the link between the visitor and the different attractions and services that exist in Porto Holy.

Our family has always been connected to this area, it all started with the arrival of  great-grandmother,  known to many, the “Rocha”, familiar  from Lazermar's newest employee, Sofia, and it was he who brought the first private car to the island of Porto Santo, in 1940, and at this time  he was one of the few people with a car and so took visitors along the few roads on the golden island. From a very early age Higino (Sofia's father) followed in his grandfather's footsteps and as soon as he got his license he started working with a taxi and after many years of experience, he joined Maria José (Sofia's mother), at the time a receptionist at the Hotel Porto Santo and formed the Lazermar agency.

Together we promote circuits that lead to a better knowledge of the island of Porto Santo through the Excursão Bus, the 4×4 Jeep Circuit and Pedestrian Tours  with the purpose of showing places with incredible landscapes, thus joining the main viewpoints, with unique geological formations, main attractions such as Quinta das Palmeiras and Casa da Serra, with an experienced driver and local guide and who have information about our rich history , culture and traditions very particular to this island that every day surprises those who visit it!
